YANG Xubo is a tenured professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the head of the Digital ART Lab at the School of Software, specializing in VR/AR/MR and computer graphics. He has done VR/AR/MR research at the Fraunhofer Institute of Media Communication in Germany, the Mixed Reality Laboratory of the National University of Singapore, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a council member of the Chinese Graphics Society, the secretary-general of the Computer Graphics Special Committee, a member of the Standing Committee of the Virtual Reality Special Committee of the China Computer Federation, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Virtual Reality Special Committee of the China Image and Graphics Society. He is a general co-chair of the IEEE VR conference, and an editorial board member of the international journal Presence: VR & AR and the international journal Frontiers in VR. His work had won the IEEE VR and IEEE ISMAR Best Paper Awards.
